Addressing climate change in cities is 100 pages long catalogue developed by the Ecologic Institute and the Sendzimir Foundation about utilizing nature-based solutions (NBS) such as green roofs and facades, sustainable drainage system or bioretention infrastructure, their cost-effectiveness and potential to mitigate climate change together with some implementation guidelines. It is complemented by 80 pages long guide on policy instruments that can be used to foster NBS uptake in cities.

My job was to design a set of matching covers and flexible layout for those publications and create technical illustrations based on given CAD drawings. Procreate app and iPad with Apple Pencil were my primary tools for drawing, Adobe Illustrator for adding technical descriptions and InDesign for all the rest.

Following the printed versions, I’ve created ebooks of all publications. Edited and converted to both reflowable EPUB, and Kindle (mobi) format, they are designed with embedded fonts and HTML/CSS tables. All pictures were optimized to minimize file sizes and preserve high-quality. Both books are available in Polish and English.
